Head Of Business Development

The Role

As PAV’s Head of Business Development (HBD) you’re tasked with extending our global reach through expert cultivation of new, untapped business opportunities and relationships. The HBD will be trusted to dive right in, take the lead, use initiative, and help build our brand for instant recognition from the market in Southeast Asia, Asia, and around the world, and drive Company’s sales and revenues. Highly skilled at sales tactics, contract negotiations and business operations, this person will join and inspire a team of like-minded go-getters to achieve our Company vision.


  • Drive growth opportunities for Pen Aviation’s 6 business lines (namely for Consulting and Project Management, Aircraft Sales and Acquisitions, Aircraft Management Solutions, Charter Flights, Investment Opportunities, UAS) with the support of the Marketing and Communication Department and through a combination of various activities, including but not limited to:
    • Participating in the planning and execution of marketing initiatives
    • Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities
  • Finding and growing new territorial markets
  • Identify new leads for all Pen Aviation’s business lines
  • Engaging leads through mailing campaigns, emails, conf calls, video calls and / or face-to-face meeting, to convert them into Clients
  • Negotiate quotes and contracts with Clients
  • Identify tenders and answer tenders relevant to Pen Aviation business lines
  • Work with leads and institutional organizations to create tender suitable to Pen Aviation products and services
  • Engaging existing Clients to ensure continued business satisfaction and grow additional sales opportunities
  • Manage the pipeline of opportunities to ensure there are always enough potentials deals to sustain the Company continued growth
  • Supervise the delivery of sold products and services, with the support of the other departments
  • Create a business environment conducive for Pen Aviation business lines growth by maintaining good relationships with business partners, authorities, agents, distributors, professional associations
  • Participate in the elaboration of the company yearly marketing and communication plan, and the strategic plan
  • As the activity grows, manage a team of sales managers and sales support executives
  • Attending conferences, meetings, trade shows, and industry events
  • Keep Pen Aviation ERP (including but not limited to CRM) fully updated in quasi real time
  • Working closely with PAV Management on data analytics
  • Training personnel and helping team members develop their PAV product and services awareness
